Natural remedy for seasonal allergies
This year the pollen count has reached new levels and with it come those dreaded allergy attacks where you rub you eyes, cough and sneeze for what seems to be an eternity. Many of us seriously change our schedules and activities because of this.
If you would like to try a natural alternative to over the counter drugs, essential oils could be a good way to look.
Lavender (the swiss army knife of essential oils) is a wonderful helper when it comes to helping slow down and sometimes even stop allergy attacks.
. If you have a diffuser you could diffuse it in your home for 10 minutes at a time every couple hours. . If you don't have a diffuser you can put 2 drops of Lavender in your hands, rub them together then inhale the oil by cupping them over your nose when needed.
. For a more long lasting aid, you can gently rub 1 drop of Lavender essential oil on your nose and over the eyebrows. This can be done during the day and to help fall asleep at night.
